true story:

my sister came for christmas and checked her email on my computer and left an orange peel on my desk and said "oh sorry, i left orange peel on your desk" and i said "oh i'll throw it away when i go upstairs".

that orange peel is still there. Infact, i'm getting quite attached to it (in a non-segmenty way)

Keep it! Someone gave me a piece of grapefruit peel when I was in ninth grade, and I kept it, and it just hardened into this wonderful-smelling little scrap of nothing. I highly recommend trying this.
