Just at the right time or too soon?

Jarlr'mai (jarlrmai), Friday, 14 January 2005 11:48 (twenty years ago)

JATRT.

Mind you I have to tell Alice tonight.

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 14 January 2005 11:48 (twenty years ago)

Obviously this creates a logical paradox if you accept the lyrics to "Year 3000" to be verbatim.

Jarlr'mai (jarlrmai), Friday, 14 January 2005 11:49 (twenty years ago)

I BLAME BIFFY CLYRO!

Matt DC (Matt DC), Friday, 14 January 2005 11:52 (twenty years ago)

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 14 January 2005 11:52 (twenty years ago)

they will reform in seventeen years, on the same day that scientists successfully manage to transport a piece of fruit from one side of a room to the other via quantum particle de/re-location

Mind you I have to tell Alice tonight.

Its okay, maybe her pet rabbit will die or something, then you'll be off the hook.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Friday, 14 January 2005 11:52 (twenty years ago)

No rabbit. But she is actually going to the dentist right now anyway.

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 14 January 2005 11:59 (twenty years ago)

The singer's going to be The New Robbie Williams isn't he? As if the Old One wasn't bad enough.

Dadaismus (Dada), Friday, 14 January 2005 12:00 (twenty years ago)

They all sing, and no, he's going to be the Saviour of RockTM with his rubbish side project, if you are referring to Tory Charlie.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Friday, 14 January 2005 12:02 (twenty years ago)

Tory Charlie is going to lapse into the blissful obscurity of shitty indiemo, and love it. Oh, man, do you think the upcoming Fightstar gigs are going to beseiged by wailing teenies demanding that The Busted re-form?

I BLAME BIFFY CLYRO T-shirts really are u&k.

cis (cis), Friday, 14 January 2005 12:10 (twenty years ago)

james bourne will become a song writing powerhouse ala cathy dennis

lukey (Lukey G), Friday, 14 January 2005 12:20 (twenty years ago)

God, I hope so. I heart James, and I hope he carries on writing Bubblegum smashes well into the next century.

I think actually that Charlie is trying to carry on the same career path as Graham Coxon. Which worries me even more than the idea of him "pulling a Robbie Williams". I think it would genuinely upset him if his indie project was popular. Especially with GURLS.

Masonic Boom-Boom (kate), Friday, 14 January 2005 12:22 (twenty years ago)

The Leeds gig is at the over 18's only gay punk/metal/'alternative' nite. So perhaps.
