does anyone know if i need a mac to use an IPOD?

i only have a PC and heard that i need all types of hardware boards and what have you installed to be able to connect my ipod to my Pc and be able to transfer data accordingly. is this true?

Really, it would have taken you two seconds to look this up on the apple web site. The answer is no, you can use a PC.
