Disappointing Chairs

A few years ago, I bought a couple chairs (mostly based on their design), which I still like, despite the scratches that careless movers left on them (the most expensive pieces of furniture I've ever bought!). Unfortunately, they aren't really very comfortable for me to see in with good posture. Being a person of compact dimensions, I can't keep my back flat against the back of the chair without dangling my legs uncomfortably, so I tend to sit in them in a slouchy way.

I don't think so. I'm not sure what they are. I bought them at Restoration Hardware, but I swear they are nice. I think so anyway.

I tend to disappoint chairs too. They're thinking someone intersting or famous or appreciative will sit in them and I'm none of those. Still, I doubt I disappoint them as much as Hari does.

i bought a chair at ikea that seemed comfortable there but then I got it home, put it together, and discovered it was the most uncomfortable thing to sit on ever. I hate it.

I remember watching this one lady I work with's chair for like 6 months, knowing she was going to be retiring soon. She kept promising me her chair when she left (it had this wicked mesh material, like FIVE adjustment arcs, doubly adjustable arms, etc.), but I knew somehow, somebody was going to get it before I did. So I came in the night after her last day at like midnight-thirty and YOINK took that sucker and BIKE-CHAINED it to my desk.

About a week and a half later, my hips and ass started to feel like they had been crushed by an ogre driving a brick truck, basically because I couldn't raise it up high enough to sit with my legs at an ergonomically appropriate level. FUCK YOU, CHAIR.
