...out of all the people out there who visit Amazon.com, the last 4 Joy Division albums I just looked at had the following number of reviews: 16, 16, 11 and 31.
On the other hand, Pink Floyd's numbers were: 959, 751, 479 and 392 reviews.
There's a few reasons this is weird.
1. Out of millions of people, almost nobody bothered to review the JD albums.
2. Out of millions of people, hundreds decided adding one more review to a PF title couldn't hurt.
3. I noticed and wasted my time writing this.
I almost expect to see pictures of people eating shit on the internet, but the above surprised me.

What I meant by that is from day 1 when I first learned of the existence of the internet, I took it for granted there was people eating shit on it somewhere. That many people like to eat shit in front of the world, you expect many more would bother to review a JD album.

Snobbish answer: Joy Division fans are generally too sensible to go reviewing albums on amazon.com.
Alternative answer: Joy Division fans are generally too sensible to go reviewing albums on amazon.com. But that doesn't necessarily mean they're sensible about anything else, oh no.

I thought it sort of dilineated their respective fanbases nicely, too.

The internet is surprising because...
...what with all the bickering on ILX, I have yet to hear of any ass being whooped at the ILX meet-ups.

I reviewed the albums for the AMG = I do not need to review them on Amazon.
