and now it's all fluffy n shit. twice yesterday once the day before and once today. i need some god damn grease on my head is what i need.

i have the time and i like taking showers. and since i don't have to pay for the water right now i thought i should enjoy them while i can. IS THAT A FUCKING PROBLEM??

why i washed my hair once in the shower IN CASE YOU'RE CURIOUS ---- it is hard to take a shower w/out getting your head wet so i'd wet my head and then habit would take over.

I have been using a very natural conditioner. After that I add very unnatural hair gel.

And then I usually fiddle with my hair too much and mess it up. My hair used to oily, I could swear, but it's gotten really dry as I've gotten older. (This was before I started using any gel in it, so the gel didn't cause it.)

you don't need to wash your hair every time you shower, especially if you have dry hair. shampoo just stresses it and dries out. in fact i've become less of a "hair wash" guy and more of a "bear fat" guy

this is good! it's just that shampooing is nice, ya know. but like bear fat, are you serious? like you shampoo w/ bear fat? cuz that sounds awesome, unless it's literally bear fat because i have moral qualms w/ that.

wear a hat for a while. it keeps the grease in, like the lid on a saucepan. with a wide range of hats you can account for every situation, eg tight for when hair needs straightening, loose wool for when a light gloss and cohesive curls are required.

I used to think my hair was oily, but it was just generating oil in self-defense from all the shampooing. The less I shampooed it, gradually the less greasy it got. I wash my hair about once a week now.

i am trying to do this experiment! i've found i'm addicted to washing my hair, so it's hard to discipline myself into only washing every other day. even then it gets so gross.
