the alcohol has worn off and now i'm mostly just feelin this shit. it's nice. mellow. plus if you take enough you get this great surging feeling for 5-10 minutes...i remmember once in school i took like 6 pills atonce and this kid was like "dude WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU ONE?" and i just kept laughing...but that part wears off quick. from then on it's obscene mellowness for 4-5 hours straight....fantastic stuff. i don't take it anymore than once a wekk cuz it's monstrously addictive (supposedly). but, yeah, fantastic. especially if you live w/ parents and see a shrink and um but enough of that.

I like how on Wikipedia it says there's no consensus on withdrawel effects (being present or not, after stopping). Hmm, even more TEMPTING now.
― nathalie, Saturday, 7 July 2007 09:08 (eighteen years ago)
basically the worst withdrawal symptoms of any drug ever! proceed with caution.
― wanko ergo sum, Sunday, 8 July 2007 23:21 (eighteen years ago)
my doctor took me off this because i liked it too much :-)
ativan is nice but doesn't give me quite the same warm fuzzies

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Xanax is no fun to go off of. I've never taken it but I know people who are prescribed it and I'm pretty sure they'd go off the deep end without it (though they would anyway, 'swhy they're on it!)
― Curt1s Stephens, Monday, 9 July 2007 13:35 (eighteen years ago)
my mom's been taking it for something like 15 yrs now. she can barely stay up past 11pm anymore
― impudent harlot, Monday, 9 July 2007 13:50 (eighteen years ago)
i read that as 'my mom's an impudent harlot'.
pp is going to be on a self-administering morphine drip for the next week or so and im so freakin jealous! my drug talk to my kid will go along the lines of "try them if you must but know that nothing will ever be fun again without them".

I've never taken Xanax but I am partial to Klonopin. It's addictive too, so I just take it every now and then, but ... MY, how relaxing.
― xero, Monday, 9 July 2007 17:27 (eighteen years ago)
i <3 benzodiazepines
― max, Monday, 9 July 2007 17:29 (eighteen years ago)
i have a stash of klonopin for when i really need it.
― get bent, Monday, 9 July 2007 17:30 (eighteen years ago)
Klonopin are fantastic. I don't get scrips for them anymore but I still have a bottle in the closet. They are expired so I'm not sure if they're still good. No more benzos for me these days. *sniff*
― Ms Misery, Monday, 9 July 2007 17:47 (eighteen years ago)
how do you guys save pills?? when i get them theyre gone. it would drive me nuts knowing theyre just sitting there in the medicine cabinet.
― sunny successor, Tuesday, 10 July 2007 13:04 (eighteen years ago)
at my previous job I took two klonpins a day, it was that stressful. But the scrip was for as needed, limited refills. So once I was no longer working I didn't need them daily. I kept them for emergencies only. Thankfully those have become far and few between. How long do pills last you think?
― Ms Misery, Tuesday, 10 July 2007 13:38 (eighteen years ago)
i just washed down 1/3 of a xanax with some salt water nasal spray
― jergïns, Saturday, 14 July 2007 03:50 (eighteen years ago)
Oh, I'd reckon they last a while...are they particularly old?
I had 6 vicodin from a surgery & I took them four years later when I had some severe leg pain & they worked a treat, a-okay. However, they also gave me a severe ataxia, and I'd periodically drop to the ground like a marionette with its strings cut.
My mum-in-law got a klonopin rx for stress/anxiety, and now she's taking 4-8 milligrams a day. Her personality's totally changed. Everyone keeps trying to tell her she's an addict, but she'll have none of it. What can you do.
― Abbott, Saturday, 14 July 2007 04:01 (eighteen years ago)
Oh, and she got her DOG on klonopin, which he needed, but half of it goes to her...
my sister's doctor prescribed her xanax. she told him she was nervous about going to the gynocologist
― jergins, Monday, 21 September 2009 04:40 (sixteen years ago)

― tehresa, Monday, 21 September 2009 04:41 (sixteen years ago)
for free, too, bc i am uninsured.
my sister went to a doctor in peru because she was having trouble sleeping and the doctor said 'i think you have a heart ache' and gave her klonopin.
― tehresa, Monday, 21 September 2009 04:45 (sixteen years ago)

― jergins, Monday, 21 September 2009 05:06 (sixteen years ago)

― tehresa, Monday, 21 September 2009 05:10 (sixteen years ago)
my sister was talkimg about Nogales pharmacies. sounds Sketch. but hey, the good stuff
― jergins, Monday, 21 September 2009 05:16 (sixteen years ago)
my sister gave me some of her klonopin for my own heart aches but not that much so i better try not to have any more? or just go visit more often.
