Is using ILE in exams that count towards your actual future a "good idea"?

I searched Marx (Karl not Brian) to get some counter arguments, different opinions etc on ILE last night. Come exam time my brain decided to pick out all ILE information and my hands decided to fit it snugly into my essay. Has anyone else done this? Is it in any way advisable?

Haha. I've never done this with articles or essays, oh no. And I've totally not encouraged Emma to do it either.

Has anyone written an essay on ILX yet? When will the first ILX dissertation happen??

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Wednesday, 19 January 2005 18:12 (twenty years ago)

i think ilx should be timed to go up in a poof of smoke as soon as someone makes an ilx-themed dissertation proposal

Amateur(ist) (Amateur(ist)), Wednesday, 19 January 2005 18:14 (twenty years ago)

Hehe. I actually already DID use ILX (peripherally) in a linguistics type essay (sorry guys).

In response to the notion that Marx's communist dream is nothing more than an impossible utopian ideal, I have to agree with those who have said, "Haw! Get one clue!"

In response to the original question: "yes".

Ideas on ILx are not like you food you pick up off the sidewalk. It's OK to put them in your mouth.

Aimless (Aimless), Thursday, 20 January 2005 00:38 (twenty years ago)

I think I said something about alienation from self / time being like not able to take telephone calls at work because the time isn't your own and something about pure capitalism being as impossible as pure communism but that worries me cos I Momus might have said it and he's, well, I dunno, you tell me...

I saw his live journal and then he crops up in John Harris' Last Party book in this crazy scandal which really confused me as he was only to me that guy on interweb with an eye patch. Maybe I shouldn't believe what I read.

Or, the answer to end all questions...

"We've done this!"

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 20 January 2005 09:39 (twenty years ago)

one month passes...
As a postscript the exam in question only earned me 58 out of 90. (2.2) Make of that what you will.
