My girlfriend is out with some workmates, and I guess she's gotten pretty drunk. I just got a text message from her:

Followed by a phone call in which she realised she has to get up in like 4 hours. She's so drunk it's infuriating to talk to her! I told her the same things about 4 times.

I had a manager once who was two years younger than me. My department went out for dinner one night and he got really drunk. We ended up talking about how much younger he was than most of the other managers in the job.

Him: I mean, I'm only 26 and I'm a manager! A manager!
Me: I know, it's amazing.
Him: I know. I mean, I'm your manager! Your manager! And guess how old I am, go on, guess! Go ooonnn, have a guess how old I am.
Me: Er, 26?
Him: That's BRILLIANT! How did you do that?

Bless him. Then he went to the toilet and fell asleep. When he woke up at 2.30am, everyone had left the restaurant and he had to set the alarm off and wait for the police to come and let him out.
