bodyshock 'orgsmatron'-- channel 4 show. anyone watching it?

i'm both fascinated and horrified by this show. i only tuned in for the second half, and find the whole thing bizarre. basically, a doctor does some sort of surgical implant into inorgasmic women's spinal cord, and attaches a little box that shoots electonic impulses into them, at a 'specific frequency'. this increases sensation into her bits, which leads to orgasm for some women.

it sounds like an interesting idea, but the mechanics of it are freaking me out. we just saw a husband fishing around for the little wire now coming out of her back, which grosses me out. who would put themselves through that?

some women are responding positively, some still can't come at all (and it seems to feel, to them, like the fact that they can't means they're true failures of some sort)

did anyone else see this? does anyone know anything else about this? is it just me that find this interesting but disturbing?
