Right now, the wife just threw some garlic in a pan, and the apartment is now abloom with a truly divine scent. I love garlic. Too bad it never tastes as good as it smells.

- Garlic
- Bacon
- Coffee

...others?

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Sunday, 13 February 2005 23:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Garlic oh yes. Frying onions too. Baking bread, or cakes.

Trayce (trayce), Sunday, 13 February 2005 23:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah Garlic and butter or frying onions is pretty damn good. Fresly brewed coffee and bread is also damn good.

On the other hand, the rotten potatoes I just took out to the bin: big dud.

I think my kitchen should smell lovely by this afternoon =)

Vanilla is the best smell ever, and wonderful when it's used in the kitchen, for cleaning and such.

Isn't vanilla a little pricey for cleaning purposes?

jim wentworth (wench), Monday, 14 February 2005 02:43 (twenty-one years ago)

You can dilute the real thing quite heavily and still get a nice scent. Barring that, imitation extract is similarly wonderful. Better than the smell of ammonia/vinegar/bleach, anyway.

sugarpants (sugarpants), Monday, 14 February 2005 02:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Hmmm OK. I shall give it a try. Thanks.
