I like buttons.

yeah.

zips are more mechanical and sometimes they start to not work. that is annoying.

I don't like thinking about velcro. it's good. but I just don't like thinking about it.

I love hooks. And buttons can be very cute. Zippers are nice on tight things because they're not very obvious. Strings and other forms of ties are fun. Pearl Snaps are the only ones I don't like.

Anyone else ever noticed the spooky dominance of the mysterious YKK brand of zippers? Yet no one ever seems to mention it. Check your zippers now people, the YKK monopoly is everywhere I'm telling you.

I looked it up once too, but that's exactly the thing - they're probably the least mentioned monopoly in the world. Though of course thanks to the internet, we find these things out. This and the "what the fuck is Grimace?" question.

Seems that soon there will be no fun in trivia whatsoever.
