Hi, Anthony. Since you wrote that article imagining Moz as some kind of Norma Desmond preying on Latino gardeners or somesuch, I'm sure you're aware of the Smiffs connection to this film and its star, Colin Campbell.

So, you have never seen this film? It's about a newly married man who's becoming disenchanted with married life. He escapes the unpleasantness and responsibilities of married life by spending increasingly more time with his best mate drinking and riding motorbikes. It's a totally homoerotic biker scene fit for Tom of Finland illustration, but our hero doesn't get that his mate is a flaming phoenix until the very end (well, it was the 1950s). I forget how it ends, but I remember Campbell's character wasn't cool about his mate's gayness.
