my last haircut was in the 90's somewhere. 94? 95? something like that. it was such a bad haircut (my boss actually payed for me to have it cut at a rich ladies salon cuz we were opening a new store at a more highfalutin' address and he wanted me to look less homeless) that i vowed to never get another one.

(Ned, what was interesting was that I had a fairly clear idea of what you would sound like, and it makes me think that while I don't form visual images to speak of, I may be able to "visualize sound" fairly well; but aside from such self-absorbed musing, I definitely could see you doing voice overs or something. Although something about your voice did sort of remind me of a college radio DJ, but a college radio DJ with a good voice. Maybe it's the unavoidable self-consciousness and perhaps irony that must result from reading the alamanac out loud while someone is recording it.)

I have an old pal who, AFAIK, had either never cut his hair, or never done more than trimmed its split ends anyway. It had also never been dyed, or sprayed with product. It was the healthiest, silkiest blonde hair you ever did see, and it went well past his bum - and he was well over 6 ft tall.
