Do you work more hours than you should? How many more and are you rewarded for it? Well on Friday walk out the second your set day finishes.

I want to hear your responses but it is after my hours here and tomorrow is a Buddhist holiday and I have the day off.

Some industries you work unpaid overtime. That's how it goes.

I'd say I work 44 hours a week. That's not bad.

I work 30 hours per week, occasionally 32. I don't do anything unpaid, and I'm not (often) expected to. But anyone who is reading ILX during work hours can hardly get righteous about working to rule, IMHO.

Good point.

I do a 40-hour week, but it usually works out at 41-2 if you add on the time when I come in 15 minutes early (most days) or don't leave until 15 minutes after I should. I rarely have to do substantial (unpaid) overtime, though - I did 1 1/2 days over the Christmas break, and *very* occasionally I have to do an extra hour in the evening if something's seriously up.
