does it count as derailing if you keep on topic on the tangents thread?

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 24 February 2005 11:56 (twenty years ago)

No, everything's allowed here.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Thursday, 24 February 2005 11:57 (twenty years ago)

Awesome! Thanks Tuomas.

latebloomer: The Heavy Metal Velveeta Faction (latebloomer), Thursday, 24 February 2005 12:01 (twenty years ago)

I love cheese too. We have five different varieties in the fridge. I was thinking of making some grilled cheese toast with all of them on it.

kate/papa november (papa november), Thursday, 24 February 2005 12:03 (twenty years ago)

wow are you going to layer them one above another? or like put them in "zones"?

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 24 February 2005 12:07 (twenty years ago)

you could make a pentgon of cheese with little cheese triangles.

Jarlr'mai (jarlrmai), Thursday, 24 February 2005 12:24 (twenty years ago)

Or a tetrahedon!

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 24 February 2005 13:12 (twenty years ago)

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 24 February 2005 13:14 (twenty years ago)

I love rolls with poppy seeds on them but nobody tells you if you come back from lunch with them in your teeth. Bastards.

Rumpsy Pumpsy (Rumpie), Thursday, 24 February 2005 13:22 (twenty years ago)

I'm a tetrahedonist.

Jarlr'mai (jarlrmai), Thursday, 24 February 2005 13:36 (twenty years ago)

Won't this very quickly turn into the non-sequitor thread?

Johnney B (Johnney B), Thursday, 24 February 2005 13:40 (twenty years ago)

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Thursday, 24 February 2005 13:47 (twenty years ago)

My pasta tastes funny today. Can't work out exactly how. Can pasta be overcooked?

alix (alix), Thursday, 24 February 2005 13:49 (twenty years ago)

Yes. Me and my friends once forgot a kettle of pasta on the stove for too long, and the pasta turned into goo. We spent the next hour making pasta animals.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Thursday, 24 February 2005 14:06 (twenty years ago)

Maybe that is what is happening in my belly now. Pasta giraffes and coypu.

alix (alix), Thursday, 24 February 2005 14:15 (twenty years ago)

Did anyone see the programme about WHALES last night on Channel 5? Did you see the mummy walrus and the baby walrus CUDDLING? Wasn't that the cutest damn thing?

Rumpsy Pumpsy (Rumpie), Thursday, 24 February 2005 14:24 (twenty years ago)

I wonder what Mark E Smith's doing, right now.

Matt (Matt), Thursday, 24 February 2005 14:26 (twenty years ago)

clubbing walruses with cheese!

latebloomer: The Heavy Metal Velveeta Faction (latebloomer), Thursday, 24 February 2005 14:35 (twenty years ago)

I should be at the library.

sgs (sgs), Thursday, 24 February 2005 14:44 (twenty years ago)

this is not a library

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 24 February 2005 14:52 (twenty years ago)

oh whoops, I confused tangent with non-sequitur.

I did just eat some overcooked pasta though.

sgs (sgs), Thursday, 24 February 2005 15:01 (twenty years ago)

I want to try cooking pasta in a kettle.

Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 24 February 2005 15:13 (twenty years ago)

I cook all my pasta in a hot water bottle. There was that article in the Chap once about cooking kippers in a trouser press, I seem to remember.

alix (alix), Thursday, 24 February 2005 15:25 (twenty years ago)

My head is a toilet. I wish to flush it and start with a fresh bowl.

Je4nne Ć’ury (Jeanne Fury), Thursday, 24 February 2005 15:27 (twenty years ago)

My heart is a hotel. Women keep checking in, but none of them stay.

steve hise, Thursday, 24 February 2005 15:30 (twenty years ago)

I love tangents, ones to curves are okay but a couple of tangents to aan ellipse or hypebola that intersect some distance away, on the inwardly curving side is H.O.T.
