What's the best place for free mp3 uploading and hosting nowadays that allows you to hotlink directly to the file?

I've been intrigued by the possibilities of drop.io http://drop.io/about but I've never used it for anything. It has a firefox extension too.

I don't understand the hotlink issue, so my suggestion may be meaningless to the question.

I'm considering doing a personal mp3 blog, and I hate having to use the ugly, bloated players like imeem's (though that site has a good upload/playlist capability). To use a custom one (really, just the default Wordpress player is the style I like) on a free blog host I would need direct hotlinking. Also, I'm I might want to do a playlist on seeqpod for iPhone/iPod Touch playback, and that site also seems to need direct linking. And I don't want to use the yousendit/megaupload/rapidshare wait pages anyway.
Divshare looks good - I'll give that a shot. Any other suggestions? (as well as for good simple embeddable mp3 flash players)
