Man, if you can't laugh at Bachelor's Party you have no humour. This movie is a blast. There's this wacky guy, right, and he's totally having a nervous breakdown and he tries to drown himself in the bath at the party. So he's bending over the bath tub with his head submerged in the water when Tom Hanks comes in, talks to him, drains the tub and leaves.

Then the guy weeps, throws his head back and goes to plunge face first into the water but because there's no water anymore he smashes himself face first into the base of the tub.

I like the scenes of Tom Hanks "dancing." He couldn't have hacked at is as an extra on Animal House.

I think the best Tom Hanks comedy is that one where him and John Candy are in the Peace Corps., precisely because he spends like 90% of the movie doing his frustrated voice.

Hanks is a pretty good actor (much better than the wildly overrated Johnny Depp or Nicholas Cage, for instance) - and he's still doing good work - I liked him in Catch Me if You Can and The Terminal.
