RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:01 (twenty years ago)

Who did release magic family out from the base of $499 (deangulberry), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:02 (twenty years ago)

DEAN GULBERRY YOU LIVE IN LA; YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND.

Ian John50n (orion), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:02 (twenty years ago)

Ian John50n (orion), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:02 (twenty years ago)

I don't feel like talking, about this.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:03 (twenty years ago)

Who did release magic family out from the base of $499 (deangulberry), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:03 (twenty years ago)

hi guys!

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:04 (twenty years ago)

february will be over in less than two hours (in the eastern united states.)

Ian John50n (orion), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:05 (twenty years ago)

you know, I didn't even realise it was march, until right now.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:06 (twenty years ago)

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:07 (twenty years ago)

Who did release magic family out from the base of $499 (deangulberry), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:07 (twenty years ago)

I used to have a routine.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:10 (twenty years ago)

mm february

Who did release magic family out from the base of $499 (deangulberry), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:11 (twenty years ago)

in a perfect month, you two would cancel each other out

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:12 (twenty years ago)

february 2000 was OK.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:12 (twenty years ago)

february 2002 was a strong month in what turned out to be a terrible year.

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:13 (twenty years ago)

I don't know quite how to take that, mark p.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:23 (twenty years ago)

you should just take it.

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:24 (twenty years ago)

I don't have any choice, I suppose.

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:30 (twenty years ago)

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:30 (twenty years ago)

congrats

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:35 (twenty years ago)

but it's so pretty and it's snowy!
March is slushy and has a bad rep for backstabs.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:42 (twenty years ago)

february has been fine. dare i say great, even.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:46 (twenty years ago)

march is full of birthdays. some of them will be great, others will be painful.

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:48 (twenty years ago)

I think mine will be both.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 03:51 (twenty years ago)

March is indeed full of birthdays, and green beer days. But the slush is still ass.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 04:01 (twenty years ago)

February is like ball sweat when you're about to get a same sex handjob that you didn't ask for.
I think we've all been there.

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 05:16 (twenty years ago)

um, nope!

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 05:18 (twenty years ago)

any unsolicited handjob's fine with me.

Remy (null) (x Jeremy), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 05:22 (twenty years ago)

any? even from prosthetic hands and/or claws?

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 05:25 (twenty years ago)

I think this one is covered every year.

Paul Kelly (kelly), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 05:34 (twenty years ago)

i don't understand forksclovetofu, qualitatively.

f--gg (gcannon), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 05:35 (twenty years ago)

a month of death, regret and desparation.

may marz bring redemption, or...something

ilkley lido (gareth), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 07:05 (twenty years ago)

Man I think February sucks a dick. Grey and grey and nothing but too short and the rent being due too soon, oh! DID I mention the grey? The only thing to listen to in February is the Godz, the only thing to do is have sex and fuck as much as possible and touch warm pink skin to counteract the grey, quit your job, call everyone back that you are supposed to, and talk to them for too long.

Necros, Tuesday, 1 March 2005 07:15 (twenty years ago)

Usually, February is pretty nice to/for me. I end up having one buttcrack-ugly day throughout the month (Valentine's Day) and the rest of the month's not too bad. But, perversely, the only day that seemed really all right for me this February WAS Valentine's Day, mostly because a friend who phoned me up on that day explained to me why that day is not just for lovers and significant others. Which totally made me lose my lifelong hatred of the day. The rest of the month though... fuck it. I had a shitty time with my health throughout that month and I'm still feeling the illness's aftereffects. Dudes, this was harder for me to deal with than THE FLU would've been. At least with the flu I know I'm going to be out of commission for a day or two, I need some chicken broth and orange juice, I know which OTC meds work best with me, and as long as I get as much bedrest as I can, I'm good to go after a couple of days. But this... this was a LOT worse. And I know I'm a big weenie and everything, but... damn.

Anyway. So February 2005, huh? Fuck it gently with a chainsaw, thank you.

Surreal Addiction (Dee the Lurker), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 07:17 (twenty years ago)

i have a weird lingering near-sickness, but that's not so bad. 2005 so far has been an awesome year, esp. compared with the last 4.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 07:18 (twenty years ago)

I'm not enamoured by months beginning with M.

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:26 (twenty years ago)

february is the longest month

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:34 (twenty years ago)

February was ok.. it was short.

The day got longer. It snowed.

is dean gulberry a black person?

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:41 (twenty years ago)

xpost with tracer

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:41 (twenty years ago)

I'm not enamoured by months beginning with M.

I love them! I've long hoped for the day when January will be renamed Manuary.

Leon the Fatboy (Ex Leon), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:42 (twenty years ago)

I don't see how anyone could not like May, either. What a great month!

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:43 (twenty years ago)

Mapril, May, Mune, Muly

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:44 (twenty years ago)

My favourite months are a long way of now, no fun 'til October.

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:45 (twenty years ago)

i like december a lot. even though xmas is cold.

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:47 (twenty years ago)

Something really quite awful happened last month that affected a lot of people here and elsewhere. I guess it could've happened anytime so I'm not hating on a month. Some wonderful things also happened that I suppose act as some sort of balance. Out of people I know one life was taken but another one arrived, and the latter deserves as much celebration as the former deserves grief and mourning I feel.

Sven Bastard (blueski), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:48 (twenty years ago)

February was a pretty horrible month for me, I'm glad to see it go. It should be renamed Mebruary, maybe it would be better next year (still doesn't sound as swank as Manuary though).

Leon the Fatboy (Ex Leon), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:50 (twenty years ago)

i did a fucking awesome DJ set in february.

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:51 (twenty years ago)

what did you play after 'Human After All'? i was enjoying it a lot up to that point where i had to leave

Sven Bastard (blueski), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:53 (twenty years ago)

It should be renamed Mebruary

Or more explicitly, "Meh-bruary."

j.lu (j.lu), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 17:57 (twenty years ago)

after that it was Ladytron, and the epic WElcome to teh Jungle to end. fuck it was good.

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 18:06 (twenty years ago)

god is either dead or hates toronto. fuck a soggy sock!

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 1 March 2005 18:31 (twenty years ago)

it's only nine more months until Mecember people

Kim (Kim), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 03:45 (twenty years ago)

the simple act of crossing the street should not require such tactical fortitude.

mark p (Mark P), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 03:54 (twenty years ago)

HR people who can't be bothered to call me can suck my left one.

j.lu (j.lu), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 03:59 (twenty years ago)

did you know that a massive wave of street slush created by a speeding vehicle, amazingly, can surmount the walls around a subway stairway to soak the many hapless victims trudging their way down below? i know it, now.

Kim (Kim), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 04:11 (twenty years ago)

oh jesus.
if that had happened to me today I probably would have screamed horrible obscenities.

Ian John50n (orion), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 04:13 (twenty years ago)

fuck this entire year, don't blame february for all of it

Allyzay Dallas Multi-Pass (allyzay), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 04:30 (twenty years ago)

that's the spirit, ally.

(btw, tom rented saw - your year's not gonna get better any time soon.)

mark p (Mark P), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 04:32 (twenty years ago)

BC ski season is dead - some seriously demoralizing shit that kinda came to a head in Feb. I'm an (ex) world-class (but still insanely show-offy good) freestyle skier so this is major bloody deprivation. Otherwise, Feb's been dumb hot (figuratively): Dave Q (the white ODB! I swear!) staying at my place, smoking stupid amts of weed, theorizing, roffling, two mangled canadian net-legend stoners that somehow write for bigtime NYC shit; work is just so much fun cuz my employers love me and I love them and school is TOO easy; I'm getting in better shape (carved out of wood, basically, sometimes I get erect just looking in the mirror, can't explain); the record label is gathering momentum and wildfire wordamouf with me barely doing anything; basically every fly girl under 5'7 I meet ends up all over my shit like Nutella; I don't even need my SSRIs or sleepmeds anymore. Once I start writing more for my man Shipley and others, I will be content, and all my enemies will just naturally disintegrate, without my help, into normal everyday sewage!

Go Febrooary!

LeCoq (LeCoq), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 11:04 (twenty years ago)

hopefully, that will be my March

charltonlido (gareth), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 11:11 (twenty years ago)

i hope so too (for you and me and everyone else)

nathalie barefoot in the head (stevie nixed), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 11:43 (twenty years ago)

gareth and nath, you are both total sweethearts who've always been so straight up w me - if fortune doesn't find you, I'll find fortune and kill his ass

LeCoq (LeCoq), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 11:49 (twenty years ago)

carved out of wood, basically, sometimes I get erect just looking in the mirror, can't explain

well, if you're carved out of wood. you're either constantly erect or you're not.

ken c (ken c), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 11:55 (twenty years ago)

February started off horribly but got gradually better and better. I am really looking forward to March. There will be much music and dancing.

Gareth lets go and get fucked up and dance with girls.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 12:06 (twenty years ago)

Ken, Mr LeCoq lives in his own universe with its own rules. :-) If only we/I could join him.

nathalie barefoot in the head (stevie nixed), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 12:10 (twenty years ago)

I hate all months that have a vowel in them.

caitlin (caitlin), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 12:32 (twenty years ago)

eighteen years pass...

let us all enjoy the blessed extra length of this month in 2024

(still salty that my ex-cousin-in-law was given the option of induced birth on either 2/29 or 3/1 in 2008 and chose the latter -- i mean wouldn't a 2/29 birthday be *awesome*?)

(either way i can at least always remember how old her daughter is)

mookieproof, Thursday, 1 February 2024 05:46 (one year ago)

i'd like to thank this revive for reminding me to say "white rabbits" this morning
