having had to sit through the thoroughly shitty BE COOL and MAN OF THE HOUSE in the last 24 hrs, i gotta say the only thing smoothing out that bumpy ride was the consistent presence of ms. m. casting directors take note!

damn those both looked kinda cool (minus travolta obv)

ryan (ryan), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:49 (twenty years ago)

man of the house did NOT look cool.

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:50 (twenty years ago)

She was great in that movie she did with Nick Cannon, "Love Don't Cost A Thing" (which was also shitty, mostly because of Nick Cannon).

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:50 (twenty years ago)

i didn't see that one. i know she's been in movies before, but i hope she breaks out as a big star soon!

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:51 (twenty years ago)

haha yes it does!

ryan (ryan), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:52 (twenty years ago)

Nick Cannon gets so much shit.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:52 (twenty years ago)

cheerleaders + shenanigans + grumpy tommy lee jones = kinda cool

ryan (ryan), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:52 (twenty years ago)

+ CEDRIC (aka "The Sinbad of the 00s")

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:53 (twenty years ago)

the shenanigans were very poor.

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:54 (twenty years ago)

what is so great about this woman. she is obv very beautiful but we need more than that. she also seems very short.

ryan (ryan), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:54 (twenty years ago)

she's really charming on camera & cute as a button!

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:55 (twenty years ago)

Oh I confused Man of the House with the new Vin Diesel movie (haha that's right THE PACIFIER!!!)

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:55 (twenty years ago)

dude i'm seeing that tomorrow.

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:55 (twenty years ago)

biiiiiiig sigh.

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:55 (twenty years ago)

she is obv very beautiful but we need more than that.

Er, since when???????

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:55 (twenty years ago)

point duly noted.

ryan (ryan), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:56 (twenty years ago)

"biiiiiiig sigh."

I'm sorry. It does not look good.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 00:58 (twenty years ago)

I think that siiiiigh was one of exasperation, not relief.

Was Be Cool really that bad?

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 01:05 (twenty years ago)

yeah it was a big turd! totally clunky and unfunny and full of self-congratulatory cameos.

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 01:07 (twenty years ago)

I LOVE THIS WOMAN SOOOO MUCH.

did anyone see her in the murphy lee video for her Love Don't Cost a Thing movie?

also, she is uh, dating, uh, nick carter.

JaXoN Hole (JasonD), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 01:11 (twenty years ago)

i love mixed race girls!!

JaXoN Hole (JasonD), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 01:12 (twenty years ago)

Ew, Nick Carter.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 01:14 (twenty years ago)

siiiiiiiiiiiiigh

(sad on the Be Cool front & the Carter front) (wistful on the Murphy Lee front)

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 02:00 (twenty years ago)

I'm sorta bummed to hear that Be Cool is teh lame, but frankly not surprised.

The thread title threw me for a loop at first, but now that I've had time to process it makes complete and total sense.

sugarpants (sugarpants), Wednesday, 2 March 2005 03:53 (twenty years ago)

five months pass...
Just saw Love Don't Cost A Thing. It was totally great. Nick Cannon playing "supercool" was funny as hell. Milian did a decent job, but not brilliant. I mean she lit up the screen and all, but her character was barely drawn in at all.
