luna's cee, Friday, 4 March 2005 04:35 (twenty years ago)

hahahaha kind of OTM

Allyzay Dallas Multi-Pass (allyzay), Friday, 4 March 2005 04:36 (twenty years ago)

i haven't seen that. what accent does he have?

Kim (Kim), Friday, 4 March 2005 04:37 (twenty years ago)

Like someone shoved a really big butt plug up him.

luna's cee, Friday, 4 March 2005 04:39 (twenty years ago)

Not to put too fine a point on it.

luna's cee, Friday, 4 March 2005 04:39 (twenty years ago)

Is it some kind of southern US drawl thing?

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Friday, 4 March 2005 04:39 (twenty years ago)

i see?

Kim (Kim), Friday, 4 March 2005 04:40 (twenty years ago)

More like uber clipped Boston. Ish. Fuck. He's overpronouncing consonants, if nothing else, and it is IRRITATING.

luna's cee, Friday, 4 March 2005 04:40 (twenty years ago)

Will Smith's accent outside of Six Degrees of Separation

gabbneb (gabbneb), Friday, 4 March 2005 04:45 (twenty years ago)

gabbned - why do you hate a'ight?

luna's cee, Friday, 4 March 2005 04:46 (twenty years ago)

John Guare

gabbneb (gabbneb), Friday, 4 March 2005 04:47 (twenty years ago)

Except gabbneB not ned. Sorry Ned.

luna's cee, Friday, 4 March 2005 04:47 (twenty years ago)

Yeah, but that's the puint, Luna. His accent is purely artifice, as his character is not what he says he is.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Friday, 4 March 2005 04:49 (twenty years ago)

Well yes, I *know* that - but that doesn't make me want to punch him in the face any less.

luna's cee, Friday, 4 March 2005 04:51 (twenty years ago)

Fair enough.

My list (for today) of things that irritate me.
- U.S. Customs
- Robotussin medicine head
- Joe Scarborough still being allowed to breathe, let alone host his own show on MSNBC.
- The Martha Stewart Released from Jail kerfuffle -- FOR FUCK'S SAKE, WHO GIVES A GODDAMN?
- Post-Oscar hype
- The notion of the Olympics coming to New York City

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Friday, 4 March 2005 04:54 (twenty years ago)

Today's list:

1. THREE COUNT 'EM THREE royal families in my city at the same time. FUCK OFF FUCK OFF FUCK OFF.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Friday, 4 March 2005 05:07 (twenty years ago)

Joe Scarborough still being allowed to breathe

he's mostly harmless

gabbneb (gabbneb), Friday, 4 March 2005 05:09 (twenty years ago)

okay and anthony michael as 'I feel like Sheherezad' guy gives me both the heebies AND the jeebies. yerg.

luna's cee, Friday, 4 March 2005 05:09 (twenty years ago)

but Luna....THAT'S THE IDEA!!! He's not supposed to be a sympathetic character.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Friday, 4 March 2005 05:24 (twenty years ago)

then he deserves a fucking oscar, because that was creepy as fuck.

luna's cee, Friday, 4 March 2005 05:27 (twenty years ago)

Will Smith's accent in Separation is kind of like really super affected, i see what luna is saying. He's really kind of forcing the gay-guy-not-trying-to-be-gay thing, if that makes any sense to anyone. His character is supposed to be completely artificial, so it makes sense, but he could've conveyed this in a less...err....artificial fashion than he does.

That being said he should do more serious work because accent aside he's good in that movie.

Allyzay Dallas Multi-Pass (allyzay), Friday, 4 March 2005 05:29 (twenty years ago)

He's great in it. I don't think he's been as good in another film he's appeared in.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Friday, 4 March 2005 05:44 (twenty years ago)

Well, that is the point. He's supposed to be good in it.

Who did release magic family out from the base of $499 (deangulberry), Friday, 4 March 2005 05:48 (twenty years ago)

hmm, lists nice.

1. my principal giving me an entire period's observation when I only have TEN days left at school.
2. The lame Dallas rollerderby league getting publicity instead of the cool one who is using my name.
3. moving and having too much shit
4. kids
5. shaving
6. colds.

bleh.

Miss Misery (thatgirl), Friday, 4 March 2005 06:26 (twenty years ago)

Things that irritate:

1.  Razor burn
2.  Dry eyes
3.  Rashes
4.  Sinuses
5.  Rubbing alcohol on a cut

Things that irritate me:

1.  The fact that a day is only 24 hours long
2.  The fact that a week is only 7 days long
3.  Lengthy periods of constantly being bombarded with weekend activities, followed by lengthy periods of NOTHING
4.  The multiple personality disorder our local climate has
5.  The dark places my mind accomodates and leads me into at times (which scares me more than it irritates me, really)

Surreal Addiction (Dee the Lurker), Friday, 4 March 2005 06:39 (twenty years ago)

remakes of movies that do not need to be remade.
Vanilla Sky I am looking at you.

Cameron Crowe, Friday, 4 March 2005 09:08 (twenty years ago)

People with bass boosters in the trunks of their cars
(related) "fours" in electronic music.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Friday, 4 March 2005 09:45 (twenty years ago)

When you foster a dog for a rescue and you are told that the dog is spayed so it's okay to put her in with your non-neutered dog, and you're told that there's a place for her at a rescue so you drive for an hour and a half to get to the rescue and it turns out she's not spayed and they don't have a place for her and they refer to the person you fostered the dog for as a "fucking liar" so you end up taking the dog to their vet fir them to be spayed and you cry at everyone that none of this is yours or the dog's fault and the whole thing is really quite traumatic.

I suppose a lack of organisation in volunteer organisations is what I'm really irritated by here. And an acceptance that I am just trying to help and don't want to get caught up in politics.

Deep breaths. Calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Friday, 4 March 2005 10:26 (twenty years ago)

- Joe Scarborough still being allowed to breathe, let alone host his own show on MSNBC.

uggggggggggggggghhh mommy make him die.

jbr (Jody Beth Rosen), Friday, 4 March 2005 14:51 (twenty years ago)

Will Smith's turn in SDOS is extraordinary - you would not have expected him to take the role of a homosexual fraudster after the success of Fresh Prince and his million-selling pop career

things that i currently find irritating:

THE WHOLE DAMN SOCIAL SYSTEM AND PSYCHOLOGY

Sven Bastard (blueski), Friday, 4 March 2005 14:55 (twenty years ago)

My former employers cutting me a check on Monday and NOT MAILING IT TO ME UNTIL TODAY so they have basically FUXORED my entire last week of freedom due to not having any money. Sigh.

Masonic Cathedral (kate), Friday, 4 March 2005 14:57 (twenty years ago)

Things that are irritating? Too many to list, really. But what pisses me off to NO END is bad service in shops/restaurants. I'm in sales and try to serve the customers with a smile on my face because I realize they are giving me my paycheck in a way. So I expect the same from other salespeople.

nathalie barefoot in the head (stevie nixed), Friday, 4 March 2005 14:59 (twenty years ago)

I'm in one of those moods where there's nothing that isn't irritating. It's because I haven't been able to get much sleep this week, which is also very irritating.

Leon the Fatboy (Ex Leon), Friday, 4 March 2005 15:01 (twenty years ago)

People making little grooming noises at their desks.

Someone yesterday who had absolutley no idea why anyone would dislike Walmart - Love it or hate it, you MUST have heard that there's controversy, huh?

dave225 (Dave225), Friday, 4 March 2005 15:07 (twenty years ago)

Except gabbneB not ned. Sorry Ned.

I was about to say! A strange fusion. ;-)

I'm irritated I'm at work when it's rainy, as I like sleeping in on rainy mornings and pondering the fates. Instead I'm here. Feh! But it's been a great week and the big ol' party's tomorrow and tonight should be cool and etc. so hurrah!

Though the clip I saw of The Pacifier while picking up my sandwich just now was incredibly irritating, come to think of it. Why is the system being fed this way? Burn down all theaters!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 4 March 2005 15:10 (twenty years ago)

Bot-ul of Beer

Chris 'The Nuts' V (Chris V), Friday, 4 March 2005 15:12 (twenty years ago)

- The Martha Stewart Released from Jail kerfuffle -- FOR FUCK'S SAKE, WHO GIVES A GODDAMN?

from SF Chronicle:
"When she gets out of prison, she's Nelson Mandela, not some disgraced personality," Gabler says.

Don't Ever Antagonize The Horny (AaronHz), Friday, 4 March 2005 15:22 (twenty years ago)

yeah she irritates me to no end. watching her release this morning on tv i wish someone ran out of the crowd and smashed her face in with a nice centerpiece.

Chris 'The Nuts' V (Chris V), Friday, 4 March 2005 15:25 (twenty years ago)

that Mandela comparison just makes me want to kill everyone in the entire world.

Don't Ever Antagonize The Horny (AaronHz), Friday, 4 March 2005 15:27 (twenty years ago)

Including Nelson? ;-)

nathalie barefoot in the head (stevie nixed), Friday, 4 March 2005 15:35 (twenty years ago)

nah he's ok

Don't Ever Antagonize The Horny (AaronHz), Friday, 4 March 2005 15:36 (twenty years ago)
