Whats the deal with "...all by my lonesome"?

ive always used it as "all by my loneseome self" but im seeing people use minus the last work and i feel like its wrong.

am i just being crazy?

I've only heard "all by my lonesome" used in Pootie Tang. I've never heard "All by my lonesome self." I've heard "All By Myself," quite frequently. Doesn't Eric Carmen do that?

that kinda reminds me of that extra-awful issue of maxim magazine where the editors decided to be clever and have maps of countries fucking each other. like mexico ramming its yucatan into the persian gulf. or scandinavia getting its baltic sea teased by the horn of africa. maybe it was stuff magazine, but im pretty sure it was maxim
