kate/baby loves headrub (papa november), Saturday, 5 March 2005 01:00 (twenty-one years ago)

you mean a specific pair of fun undies? fundies? because, if so: yes. They're a pair of boxer shorts with red elephants on them. I also have one with blue frogs. basically, anything featuring colorful animal patterns is neat-o.

Remy (null) (x Jeremy), Saturday, 5 March 2005 01:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Men's fun underwear is women's underwear.

only one pair of 'wacky' pants- Dennis the menace, no i did not buy them myself.

Ste (Fuzzy), Saturday, 5 March 2005 01:06 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't have any of those, but I do think they're all cool. Dennis the Menace ... not so much.

Remy (null) (x Jeremy), Saturday, 5 March 2005 01:09 (twenty-one years ago)

but Remy do you have any, is the question

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 5 March 2005 01:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Funderwear

Ned Raggett (Ned), Saturday, 5 March 2005 01:12 (twenty-one years ago)

i saw some underwear in Hennes & Mauritz that had big green stars all over them. i wanted to get them but i was too frightened.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 5 March 2005 01:16 (twenty-one years ago)

Uh, no. Unless you count the particular pair of boxer shorts which I wear when I go backpacking. They would qualify only insofar as I enjoy backpacking and this particular underwear is well-suited to that pastime.

If, OTOH, "fun" is a euphemism for sexy, attractive, or even merely whimsical in some sense, then I must demur. My underwear is all perfectly quotidian. Plain. Boring. Neutral. Sleep-inducing.

Aimless (Aimless), Saturday, 5 March 2005 01:31 (twenty-one years ago)

*guilty*

Perhaps too much information, but today I'm rockin' a pair of tightie-whities with a growling grizzly bear head screenprinted in hot pink fluorescent ink on each buttcheek. I bought em from some weird style kids who make their own clothes; they were selling stuff out of a suitcase at Club Macho.

Drew Daniel (Drew Daniel), Saturday, 5 March 2005 01:38 (twenty-one years ago)

My b/f just informed me he has a pair of Powdered Toast Man boxers. This is the coolest thing I have ever heard. OMG.

fundiewear!

Aaron A., Saturday, 5 March 2005 02:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Aimless your hiking undies sound suspiciously fun to me, especially since you haven't explained why they're good for that, leaving us all to guess giddily

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 5 March 2005 02:19 (twenty-one years ago)

i think the pic at the top is killing this thread.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 5 March 2005 02:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Death by a thousand cuts...

Jimmy Mod Has Returned With Spices And Silks (ModJ), Saturday, 5 March 2005 02:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Wasn't that original Underoos slogan, before they cooked up "Underwear that's Fun to Wear"?

Drew Daniel (Drew Daniel), Saturday, 5 March 2005 02:55 (twenty-one years ago)

"Shirley of Hollywood" I mean WTF.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 5 March 2005 02:55 (twenty-one years ago)

One (1) pair dark blue Scooby-Doo flannel boxers.
One (1) pair dark blue Marvin the Martian flannel boxers
One (1) pair poly-cotton boxers in a Tabasco chilies-n-hot-sauce-bottles print

Curious George Rides a Republican (Rock Hardy), Saturday, 5 March 2005 02:56 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't wear any underwear. There, I said it.

jim wentworth (wench), Saturday, 5 March 2005 03:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Look, I've got an ILX Thong. It doesn't get any more fun than that.

donut debonair (donut), Saturday, 5 March 2005 03:26 (twenty-one years ago)

My underwear drawer features boxers with the following themes: pirates, ghosts, Scooby-Doo, Curious George (NOT riding a Republican), and fear. Plus, I'm wearing Elmo-themed underwear right now.*

*When I wrote this I had a revulsion/horror reaction like Jason Segal does when he sees himself in the bathroom mirror in Say Anything....

The Obligatory Sourpuss (Begs2Differ), Saturday, 5 March 2005 03:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Ah, but do you wear it, donut? hehe. Oh wait I was about to shout PIX but there is one isnt there.

Trayce (trayce), Saturday, 5 March 2005 03:30 (twenty-one years ago)

yes, but only if it is approved by the Gap

I think Aimless' secret fun might have something to do with "wicking."

gabbneb (gabbneb), Saturday, 5 March 2005 03:31 (twenty-one years ago)

my ex bf had a pair of boxers given to him by his mom one xmas. the boxers were covered in cartoon bunnies. he always suspected she somehow didn't NOTICE that the cute little bunny wunnies were totally FUCKING each other. mothers, eh?

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 5 March 2005 03:35 (twenty-one years ago)

Sourpuss i don't think "fear" themed underwear sounds very fun!! (??????)

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 5 March 2005 08:03 (twenty-one years ago)

I have Tigger boxers.

Fish fingers all in a line (kenan), Saturday, 5 March 2005 08:49 (twenty-one years ago)

Is "fear" underwear the kind with no elastic and suspicious stains?

Fish fingers all in a line (kenan), Saturday, 5 March 2005 08:51 (twenty-one years ago)

I have never owned anything of the sort, no.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 5 March 2005 11:53 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm sorry am I the only one gobsmacked by Sourpuss's contention that he has fear-themed underwear? What in the world. Maybe when you get into his pants, they start playing spooky music? I mean, I can only imagine.

I'm also still waiting for Aimless's explanation of what makes certain underwear better for "hiking" than others (for what it's worth, I went and bought the starry underwear today, and they're "hiking" up big style!! grrr)

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 5 March 2005 19:21 (twenty-one years ago)

it's more fun without the underwear

ken c (ken c), Saturday, 5 March 2005 19:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Starry is selling her underwear to you, Tracer?

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 5 March 2005 19:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Since you have twice asked, I shall answer... briefly (get it?)

My hiking underwear is made of all-synthetic material, a sort of nylon/polyester blend that is very satiny and smooth. And, yes, they do wick some of the wetness away from my Area 51. They don't chafe or bind at all when I am quite sweaty. (The fun just builds from here.)

They can be rinsed in a lake or stream and will dry out in a few minutes in the sun. This is important because I will sometimes go hiking for week with just the one pair to wear. (Backpackers are not like other people. Take my word on it.)

Aimless (Aimless), Saturday, 5 March 2005 19:46 (twenty-one years ago)

The vision of Aimless drying his undies in the sun atop a glorious alpine peak is a powerful one.

Jarlr'mai (jarlrmai), Saturday, 5 March 2005 19:55 (twenty-one years ago)

all boys should have a metallic gold/silver thong.

S!monB!rch (Carey), Saturday, 5 March 2005 19:56 (twenty-one years ago)

I have a gold/silver gong..

Jarlr'mai (jarlrmai), Saturday, 5 March 2005 21:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Sunday, 6 March 2005 16:05 (twenty-one years ago)

This thread is about "fun" underwear, Sean, not utterly-cryptic-yet-unmistakably-disgusting underwear. Jesus. What is it about the insides of men's thighs? The insides of thighs are like one of the top five sexy parts of women's bodies, but 100% nasty on guys.

Aimless thank you for your explanation. It has made me a happy man.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Sunday, 6 March 2005 23:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Tracer, are you hiding something?

donut debonair (donut), Monday, 7 March 2005 00:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, I'm hiding the insides of my thighs. Now don't complain, I know you're just being polite.

I'm starting to think that men and women use the word "fun" differently, when it comes to underwear.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Monday, 7 March 2005 00:47 (twenty-one years ago)

As for men's underwear, I like boxer briefs best.

Well someone's a size queen either way.

Jimmy Mod Has Returned With Spices And Silks (ModJ), Monday, 7 March 2005 05:37 (twenty-one years ago)

no.

Chris 'The Nuts' V (Chris V), Monday, 7 March 2005 13:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Totally misread title as 'men, do you have "fun" underwater?'

alix (alix), Monday, 7 March 2005 13:50 (twenty-one years ago)

i think playstation2 pants would be great. (PSP - play station pantsable)

ken c (ken c), Monday, 7 March 2005 13:56 (twenty-one years ago)

X-Boxers

ken c (ken c), Monday, 7 March 2005 13:56 (twenty-one years ago)

omg i just thought of a great (crap) idea for underwear and i wonder if anyone's already made them.

like, mens underwear that have prints of a vadge in the front, and ladies underwear that have pictures of a todger. it'd be so novel that everybody would buy them - also popular amongst transsexuals.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 7 March 2005 13:58 (twenty-one years ago)

I really want to shake that person in the Robin outfit until they find Jesus. Yikes.
