I am.. What are you going to do?

Tannenbaum Schmidt (Nik), Monday, 7 March 2005 11:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Or maybe, what are we gonna do?

Tannenbaum Schmidt (Nik), Monday, 7 March 2005 11:28 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm not.

I'm off work next Monday, but only so I can sit at home to accept a parcel. I don't think it counts as bunking off if you've filled in a holiday form, though.

caitlin (caitlin), Monday, 7 March 2005 12:19 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't work.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 7 March 2005 12:22 (twenty-one years ago)

I am, but only 'cos I was up till 3:30am feeling decidedly fragile and comtemplative following big emotional family show down yesterday evening.

I had lots of plans to get stuff done today and so far have only accomplished a small percentage of it.

Done:
Check out Visa requirements for UAE
Check out how to go about getting Right of Abode for UK
Coffee
Breakfast
Smoke cigarette
ILX (not meant to be on agenda)

Not Done:
Shower (next)
Listen to Ricardo Villalobos and other records
Record mix
Do work work
Tidy stuff up / throw away crap
Watch Serpico and finish watching Arlo's Restaurant

I suspect the whole day will be grossly wasted.

Tannenbaum Schmidt (Nik), Monday, 7 March 2005 12:27 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm not bunking off as such. i just don't have any college/job to go to on a monday. i was thinking i'd go for a jog. then maybe come back and do some ground work for my thesis. or maybe just browse the net/ilx instead.

to do:
shower
eat
jog
shower again
thesis work (maybe)
lounge around

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Monday, 7 March 2005 12:29 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah, I am supposed to be writing a dissertation.

I wonder, what will happen.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 7 March 2005 12:32 (twenty-one years ago)

a) I don't have to, I'm a bloody student.

b) I can't bunk off school, as I took all of my classes off to recover from ATP last week.

c) I'm going to spend most of my dossing time today listening to that acoustic GG Allin thing that was on ILM, and smoking my just barely recovered voice away again.

emil.y (emil.y), Monday, 7 March 2005 12:46 (twenty-one years ago)

I thought about it, but luckily woke up still as p1ssed as a newt and came into work anyway. Alas!

Lucretia My Reflection (Lucretia My Reflection), Monday, 7 March 2005 12:50 (twenty-one years ago)

i am at home trying to "organise" my "archives" HAHAHA

mark s (mark s), Monday, 7 March 2005 12:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey emil.y I have muchos ATP pictures that you are in. I will email you link NOW!

Tannenbaum Schmidt (Nik), Monday, 7 March 2005 12:55 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm in work unfortunatly, but as none of the bosses are in then I'll be taking it easy.
I spent far too long this morning finding out the dates of all the bank holidays and colouring them all in on my calendar.

bilblio (Celeste), Monday, 7 March 2005 14:04 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm bunking off work inasmuch as i haven't hustled any new temp work for this week. my plans for today are super-exciting: cleaning the bathroom, depositing a check, d*wnl**d*ng bittorrent stuff, catching up on some reading.

jbr (Jody Beth Rosen), Monday, 7 March 2005 15:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I did on Friday, then got sick for real and am suffering at work today. Stupid irony.

adam (adam), Monday, 7 March 2005 15:37 (twenty-one years ago)

I am at work but my motivation and productivity has pretty much ground to a halt. Not only am I working my notice out but my boss is also away for a week. Hence my assault on the statscock.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 7 March 2005 15:40 (twenty-one years ago)

The tidy up/throw stuff away session is always super satisfying; I really get totally absorbed into the act.

Plus if I hadn't done it I wouldn;t have found my Spanish Verb Tenses book and SPanish Dictionary; also how come I have so many fucking plastic A4 wallets? where do they come from

Next up: Pasta!!!

Tannenbaum Schmidt (Nik), Monday, 7 March 2005 15:43 (twenty-one years ago)

cozen (Cozen), Monday, 7 March 2005 16:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Mark, I feel your pain - I have shitloads of mystery cassettes in a big box. Sadly, I have pretty much given up on the idea of ever sorting through them, but cannot bear to get rid of them. Yet another useless thing to carry throughout my life.

emil.y (emil.y), Monday, 7 March 2005 16:02 (twenty-one years ago)

I thought I had work today, but last night about an hour before I was done with work, my boss "you're off Monday" so yay! I am happy because otherwise it would have been 8 days in a row of work, yuck.

I am going to library and the post office after lunch.

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Monday, 7 March 2005 16:04 (twenty-one years ago)

a friend just donated me a GIGANTIC set (set?) of cassette shelves taken out of the studio he just moved into, so it seems lame not to make an effort

the next step is in fact humiliating myself not recognising the tape i am playing even though i have a crib (=the empty but labelled box) right in front of me

(but i need to buy batteries b4 i get to that stage)

mark s (mark s), Monday, 7 March 2005 16:09 (twenty-one years ago)

No I am not bunking off work, you bastards. I would kill to work on beats and update my iPod all day.

Jordan (Jordan), Monday, 7 March 2005 16:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Having spent 5 hours tracking down obscure medical journals to no real point or purpose and certainly for no MONEY grr I now VERY much want to bunk off Japanese class tonight. Work is less easy.

Archel (Archel), Monday, 7 March 2005 16:50 (twenty-one years ago)

It's my first day of my new job, and everybody is working really, really hard... on trying to identify 270 scary old bands from this excel spreadsheet of their portraits. What a great place!

Masonic Cathedral (kate), Monday, 7 March 2005 16:56 (twenty-one years ago)

I am taking next Monday off - what should Sgs and I do?

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 7 March 2005 17:33 (twenty-one years ago)

i have to go to work for ten hours now, in a freezing cold warehouse packing boxes of tools into vans. it's good to make songs up in your head. i made up a rap song that samples "lorelei" by cocteau twins. who should rap on it?

scg, Monday, 7 March 2005 17:41 (twenty-one years ago)

I sorta wish I was off work today, I feel sleepy. And I really need to catch up on FT posts!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 7 March 2005 17:44 (twenty-one years ago)

was gonna cuz it's my burrrfday (don't tell as i don't want to make a big deal about it--no surprise parties please), but here i am. if i go get wasted tonight, tomorrow might see me calling in.
