Like it says -

Pair up two bands to make a good tour and a bad tour, based on NAME ALONE

Example :

Good tour = Squeeze / The Hooters

Bad tour = Ratt / Poison

See how it works? Pair some more up, and make me laugh please :)

(I do realise the examples I gave really have toured together, but I thought we could just make up some amusing combinations)

Bands names that can be verbs like the Kills or Shellac should clean up.

Worst was Galaxie 500 / They Might be Giants. Galaxie 500 opened, I was out of the building by the end of the first TMBG song.

Flaming Lips/Tool

Bonus points since this really happened circa 1993. Everyone booed at the Flaming Lips (surprise!). And I skinned my knee in the moshpit during Tool (surprise!).

Further adventures in Dee's fannishness:

A good pairing that actually happened:  You-know-who with Erasure as opening act. Or Scissor Sisters as opening act. Or Goldfrapp as opening act.
A bad pairing that actually happened:  You-know-who with Terence Trent D'Arby as opening act. Or with any one of the acts they chose to open for them in 1999 and 2000.

A good pairing that hasn't actually happened (yet):  You-know-who with The Killers as opening act. Or a joint tour with Depeche Mode.
A bad pairing that hasn't actually happened (I hope not ever):  A joint tour with (attempting to hold in the vomit here) Motley Crue. Or Loverboy.
