Do Fit People Get Crumbs On Themselves?

I ask because, regardless of how I eat or where I eat, I look down at my lap & chest, and WHOMP there they are. Are fit folk so athletic that they actually vibrate at imperceptible speeds so as to keep crumbs from sticking to their clothes?

Oh, you mean *athletically* fit. I thought you meant *attractive* fit.

caitlin (caitlin), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 15:31 (twenty years ago)

hahahahahahaha. No.

TOMBOT, Tuesday, 8 March 2005 15:41 (twenty years ago)

Is it... because fit people don't eat delicious carby fatty crumbly foods?

Archel (Archel), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 15:42 (twenty years ago)

You can have crumbly *yet* healthy foods, though.

caitlin (caitlin), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 15:43 (twenty years ago)

Feta cheese is kind of healthy, isn't it?

o. nate (onate), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 15:45 (twenty years ago)

Ryvita.

(It's taken me *ages* to think of crumbly food other than "biscuits". I think the packet of cookies in my desk drawer is calling me.)

caitlin (caitlin), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 15:47 (twenty years ago)

Wow, I was positive this was a Calum thread.

jaymc (jaymc), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 15:48 (twenty years ago)

That must be why I automatically assumed it was attractive-fit in the title. It's classic Calumese.

caitlin (caitlin), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 15:49 (twenty years ago)

Ha, me too.

Matt (Matt), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 15:51 (twenty years ago)

I would love to believe that feta is healthy, but I really doubt it. I mean, it's CHEESE.

I still think he meant attractive! It's, like, the only way the question makes sense!

Oh, come on (re: the Calz stuff). The Calz version would obviously be, "Does A Right Fit Bird Like Rachel Stevens Get Crumbs On Her Luscious Gams Like That Fat Bastard Nicky Wire In His Banana Suit?" Or something.

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 16:36 (twenty years ago)

I thought this thread was started because of this (though nothing to do with fit people)

Ste (Fuzzy), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 16:39 (twenty years ago)

Crumb Test Dummy!

jaymc (jaymc), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 16:41 (twenty years ago)

The answer is.. Nooooooh.

Fit people are always STANDING UP!

mark grout (mark grout), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 16:41 (twenty years ago)

All I know is that me + any bread product = birdfeeder. This will probably be the case even if I drop x pounds, though.

I'm also an oil / sauce magnet, but that's because my eating technique is unconscionable. Chance of me leaving a restaurant w/ a multi-colored shirt when I enter wearing a white/whiteish shirt = very very good.

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 16:43 (twenty years ago)

I guess fit people eat standing up (they are jogging, working out etc), and therfore they never have significant lappage to envoke crumbiness.

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 18:27 (twenty years ago)

Or maybe they can easily fit underneath tables / desks & therefore limit crumbs to the table/desktop.

Tho, really, fit people are always moving - how else would they stay fit?

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 18:33 (twenty years ago)

I get a lot of crumbs in my keyboard at work.

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 18:36 (twenty years ago)

The last time I took the keycaps off one of my keyboards, I found a grim mat of cat hair and biscuit crumbs underneath.
