I think the realest person would be someone we've all never heard of, or else someone who became famous through no fault of their own, and then quickly and graciously receded from the limelight. For instance, John Wayne Bobbit would be a good candidate, except that he cashed in on his fifteen minutes by going into the porn business. Not very real. Or Private Jessica Lynch - except she was interviewed by Barbara Walters.

this made me think of Kato Kailin(sp?). Floppy-blond haired couchsurfer 40-ish struggling actor who never pretended to be anything but -- and seemed perfectly content with it. You have to love Kato Kailin, the realest nigga alive.
