one of our cats gets these, i dunno, i guess they're panic attacks. well i think that's what they are, they usually after he hears the door slam and he thinks ppl have left him. he starts running around meowing loooong and loud, looking for people, anybody. after the door slammed this morning, i heard him begin to run around upstairs all upset. he then came running down the stairs to my office while meowing, resulting in an ululating sound as his slightly doughy frame shook on each stairstep. mee eee eee eee ooww oww mee eee eee eee owww wwww. funny, endearing, and a bit pathetic, all at once. finally he jumped onto my lap and purred in relief.
