anthony, Wednesday, 5 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

All of it. This has been a really weird week. And the more I discover, the weirder it gets.

kate, Wednesday, 5 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I've been listening to a lot of FLANDERS AND SWAN singing The English Are Best (iechyd da!) which makes me feel rather wierd.

Sarah, Wednesday, 5 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I felt better going to bed last night than I have for - well, months possibly. That's not weird particularly but blimey it feels good.

I have been remembering my dreams and they have all been bizarre. Shopping with Zsa zsa and the like. My week is young yet, I think I can beat that though, give me time.

I'm happy again and I have direction again, which is good because for most of the time since september neither of these thing have been true.

Weirdest thing, weirdest thing...well, the early Sunday morning tale about Sonic was pretty weird, but the week itself has been more busy than anything else. And it wasn't weird seeing all the remaining junk from the garage get hauled off Monday morning, that was rather satisfying. ;-)

While dressing a mannequin the boob hit me in the throat and took my breath away. ouch.

Samantha, Wednesday, 5 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I hate it when that happens. "No Mum I was just dressing it..........yeah the boob hit me in the face".

I had a dream Sarah Jessica Parker had been kidnapped and locked in the boot of a car. She was writing notes saying she couldn't move, was crippled by cramps and was slowly going mad because she had nothing to do but lie in the dark and think about her predicament and panic and eventually die.

I'm sure my Elton John recurring dream was a premonition to him announcing his retirement. In it, I acted sycophantic and told him how great his new album was, and he kept asking questions, terrifying. He spoke about wanting to retire. *Twilight Zone music*.

Sadly I have not had a recurrence of my Kylie dream.

Ronan, Wednesday, 5 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

yeah, being pretty damn happy for over a week is the most unusual thing that's happened to me in ages!

chris, Wednesday, 5 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Not this week but the other week: Coming home from my holiday (Hawaii, Japan and a day in San Francisco) then hearing my grandfather had passed away. The next day we had a funeral. From high to low in one day isn't really something I want to experience again.

helen fordsdale, Wednesday, 5 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Dunno if being laid off is necessarily weird as it is just new to me.

Brian MacDonald, Wednesday, 5 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Those giant ants again.

RS, Wednesday, 5 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

di, Wednesday, 5 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

So, Lady Di (I detect a strong drive towards thanatos in your choice of name)

Dare me to vat?

Big FUCK YOU session with Sara yesterday morning, for no particular reason. Spent last night watching her make pasta and neither of us saying nothing.

Don't worry, everything's fine now, and I spent the walk home stroking her breasts (NB in the name of science) and licked her goodbye (kissing gets boring).

Graham, Thursday, 6 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

(I say "big", but it was a bit half arsed really. I'm out of practice)

Graham, Thursday, 6 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Not exactly weird...but in a week of quiet mundanity, you gotta give a guy a break. My office chair is top of the range...it has total of three levers underneath! So, this afternoon I was sitting in the super-recline function, with eyes half closed. Does anyone else get really tired during the afternoons at work? I think I need to eat more chocolate just to stay awake...

This totally fails as bizarre, yes?

james, Thursday, 6 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

The fact that during your doze no one pushed one of the levers in order to bring you rapidly down to an unceremonious 2" off the floor IS surprising. But maybe that's just my office.

Tracer Hand, Thursday, 6 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

They probaby would Tracer! 'cept I work alone!

james, Thursday, 6 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

okay I think I remember now that you R working at home, yes? in that case not eating all chocolate on hand = tres bizarre

Tracer Hand, Thursday, 6 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'm a lonesome librarian, for a few weeks! :)
