AN ALIEN!

(Nice job!)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 24 March 2005 06:34 (twenty-one years ago)

It's...a monkey

:(

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great...adam levine (nordicskilla, Thursday, 24 March 2005 06:35 (twenty-one years ago)

(Yes I know it's a monkey but I was being of the silly. Perhaps it is an alien monkey.)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 24 March 2005 06:36 (twenty-one years ago)

WAHT IS IT MADE

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Thursday, 24 March 2005 06:41 (twenty-one years ago)

It's a lovely monkey, Adam.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 24 March 2005 07:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Funky monkey! I love how he looks like he's about to give you a great big hug:)

I organised a pottery-painting party for my elder daughter's last birthday. They got to paint a bowl each, and some lovely ceramic beads. It was a fabulous success.

C J (C J), Thursday, 24 March 2005 10:22 (twenty-one years ago)

My mum is a ceramicist, and sometimes gets hired out to man 'Paint-A-Pot' workshops, at which I have assisted. It's quite fun, although obviously more fun when there are no annoying children to monitor and I get to do it myself - sadly, I am k-rubbish at it, and my crowning glory to date has been nothing more than two mugs with my band name painted on them - very limited edition merchandise, I guess. There seems to be a proliferation of shops dedicated to this, though, and advertised for hen nights, which I don't understand - surely you're supposed to get drunk, not do arts and crafts??

emil.y (emil.y), Thursday, 24 March 2005 12:31 (twenty-one years ago)

They probably do paint-a-ceramic-p3n!s sessions for hen nights.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 24 March 2005 13:11 (twenty-one years ago)

THAT IS AN AWESOME PLATE.

You should make a whole set.

sugarpants: the luscious ingenue (sugarpants), Thursday, 24 March 2005 15:20 (twenty-one years ago)

yes, i think a whole set is the way to go here

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Thursday, 24 March 2005 15:32 (twenty-one years ago)

he is the bez of monkeys

mark p (Mark P), Thursday, 24 March 2005 15:47 (twenty-one years ago)

thanks!

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great...adam levine (nordicskilla, Thursday, 24 March 2005 16:17 (twenty-one years ago)

teacups, please.

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Thursday, 24 March 2005 16:23 (twenty-one years ago)

what would be good to eat off this plate? i think mashed potatoes.

mark p (Mark P), Thursday, 24 March 2005 17:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Eat off monkey's tummy!

C J (C J), Thursday, 24 March 2005 17:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Banana Sandwiches (xpost)

Craig Gilchrist, Thursday, 24 March 2005 17:47 (twenty-one years ago)

I was thinking it would be more of a ceremonial plate. I was going to buy it a stand and put it on the mantlepiece.

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great...adam levine (nordicskilla, Thursday, 24 March 2005 17:47 (twenty-one years ago)

That is a very nice plate, Adam!

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 24 March 2005 17:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Does the monkey have a pacifier, and if so, why?

M. White (Miguelito), Thursday, 24 March 2005 17:48 (twenty-one years ago)

i like the fighter jets off in the distance. very apocalyptic.

mark p (Mark P), Thursday, 24 March 2005 17:49 (twenty-one years ago)

It looks like the monkey do a sexy dance. Maybe the monkey is a RAVER!

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 24 March 2005 17:49 (twenty-one years ago)

he is the bez of monkeys

mark p (Mark P), Thursday, 24 March 2005 17:50 (twenty-one years ago)

It's a raver monkey doing a PLUR dance to stop the evil fighter jets.

M. White (Miguelito), Thursday, 24 March 2005 17:51 (twenty-one years ago)

no, it's a raver monkey doing a PLUR dance to incite mashed potatoes. the evil fighter jets are incidental.

mark p (Mark P), Thursday, 24 March 2005 17:52 (twenty-one years ago)

mark, maybe they're beneficent fighter jets on a pepper or a butter sortie.

M. White (Miguelito), Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:00 (twenty-one years ago)

operation: chives

mark p (Mark P), Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:02 (twenty-one years ago)

it's not a pacifier. I was attempting to convey the fullest expression of monkey-ness.

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great...adam levine (nordicskilla, Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:03 (twenty-one years ago)

I am already planning my next plate. At one point I was thinking of painting a Boy In Da Corner plate!

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great...adam levine (nordicskilla, Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:04 (twenty-one years ago)

i thought of this

for happy monkeys - sorry - what a lazy comparison.

youn, Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:06 (twenty-one years ago)

(sorry - all the keys on my keyboard are slowly giving out - incl. r)

youn, Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:08 (twenty-one years ago)

Make a dubplate next.

Jordan (Jordan), Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Huk-L, Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:20 (twenty-one years ago)

I like his belly button.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Thanks! I put that there so there wasn't any confusion.

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great...adam levine (nordicskilla, Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:25 (twenty-one years ago)

You should make a plate for every state in the union. I'm surprised the Immigration Service doesn't require this already.

laurence kansas (lawrence kansas), Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:26 (twenty-one years ago)

OK...what state has the most monkeys in it?

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great...adam levine (nordicskilla, Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Is he whistling? He looks like he's whistling. Can monkeys whistle? What would they whistle?

JimD (JimD), Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:27 (twenty-one years ago)

What would they whistle?

Something dreadfully serious, like Wagner.

Huk-L, Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Adam, excellent plate! I want to make with with Krtek. My parents still display a plate I made when I was 3 that featured an L-1011 and a 727. Some of the numbers were backward which makes it quite 1337.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Oooh, that's so awesome!! Monkeymonkeymonkey!!

Je4nne Ć’ury (Jeanne Fury), Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Let's see you make a knife and fork, hotshot.

milozauckerman (miloaukerman), Thursday, 24 March 2005 18:46 (twenty-one years ago)

I love this thread

C J (C J), Thursday, 24 March 2005 20:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Adam, where are the birds migrating off to, and will the bear be joining them?

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 24 March 2005 21:27 (twenty-one years ago)

IT IS A MONKEY

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great...adam levine (nordicskilla, Thursday, 24 March 2005 21:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Sorry, I spaced. I meant MONKEY!!!

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 24 March 2005 21:40 (twenty-one years ago)

I have images turned OFF!

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 24 March 2005 21:42 (twenty-one years ago)

state with most bears = Wyoming maybe?

laurence kansas (lawrence kansas), Thursday, 24 March 2005 21:46 (twenty-one years ago)

but what state has the most fighter planes?

mark p (Mark P), Thursday, 24 March 2005 21:47 (twenty-one years ago)

I see now, the bear on the plate represents the USSR and those fighter planes the forces of democracy. no wonder he's sucking on a pacifier, he's scared.

laurence kansas (lawrence kansas), Thursday, 24 March 2005 21:52 (twenty-one years ago)

IT IS A MONKEY

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great...adam levine (nordicskilla, Friday, 25 March 2005 02:45 (twenty-one years ago)

an assfaced monkey? is he hairless? he looks quite pink for a monkey. admit it, this is just a botched portrait of someone you know isn't it?

Kim (Kim), Friday, 25 March 2005 02:50 (twenty-one years ago)

why would I want to eat off of somebody I know?

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great, Crazy/Beautiful, Grea (nor, Friday, 25 March 2005 02:57 (twenty-one years ago)

If you kinda squint you can see that his monkey-snout has, like, its own face.

Remy (x Jeremy), Friday, 25 March 2005 02:58 (twenty-one years ago)

He's whistling the whistling part to "Wind Of Change" by Teh Scorpions.

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great, Crazy/Beautiful, Grea (nor, Friday, 25 March 2005 02:59 (twenty-one years ago)

yes it's a yellow-faced man in a monkey suit!

mark s (mark s), Friday, 25 March 2005 02:59 (twenty-one years ago)

"why would I want to eat off of someone I know?"

If you have to ask...

Austin 's dirty mind (Austin, Still), Friday, 25 March 2005 03:04 (twenty-one years ago)

I see what you're saying, kind of.

but you're wrong.

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great, Crazy/Beautiful, Grea (nor, Friday, 25 March 2005 17:34 (twenty-one years ago)
