Tonight, Keith Allen meets Mohammed Al Fayed documentary...

After the great programme that was his documentary about the 'gender change' antiques expert (name escapes me just now), he does Mr Fayed.

But, he's a Fulham fan who seems to be pleased about what Fayed's done for the club, and states that he should have had a passport by now...

So, is this going to be a dreadful puff piece?

Dunno, but 'You're Fayed' makes me guffaw.

I've never really read much about the guy, but he looks like a pretty genial chap. I may watch this just to prove myself wrong. For all I know the guy's a prick.

only a shallow person doesn't judge by appearances, as Momus would say.

Is he a prick? God I'm so easily fooled by smile lines.

i saw like five seconds of this and it wz all "fayed the anti-thatch warrior!" so i switched back to genuine probing political analysis (=fballers' wive$)

Wasn't Keith Allen Sky One's Great Comedy Hope until they bought The Simpsons and realised they didn't have to try any further in that direction?

I'll always have a bit of a soft spot for KA for Geno: Full Story and Pics and other Comic Strip highlights. Didn't see this prog, soz.

Michael Jones (MichaelJ), Friday, 1 April 2005 08:04 (twenty-one years ago)

He was also Channel 4's great comedy/hard hitting hope ("Whatever you want")

"Unlawful Killing"? "Unconscionable Shite" more like. No wonder his daughter didn't get invited to the wedding.
