Trayce (trayce), Friday, 1 April 2005 05:54 (twenty years ago)

I was thinking small islands. :)

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 1 April 2005 05:55 (twenty years ago)

england is pretty fucking small.

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 1 April 2005 05:56 (twenty years ago)

i don't think it matters that much that australia is big seeing as the population is massively concentrated within a matter of a few kilometres from the coast

gem (trisk), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:01 (twenty years ago)

Yeah so if the waters rise, we'll all have to live in the back of bourke! Argh.

Trayce (trayce), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:02 (twenty years ago)

can't y'all live on top of that big rock?

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:02 (twenty years ago)

Trayce we and Jim could live in the Bogongs.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:04 (twenty years ago)

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:07 (twenty years ago)

Trayce we and Jim could live in the Bogongs

It's a horrible climb and freaking cold up there, even in summer.

kate/thank you friendly cloud (papa november), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:07 (twenty years ago)

rofl!

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:07 (twenty years ago)

It's a horrible climb

Not if sea level rises by 1.4km

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:08 (twenty years ago)

I didn't think of that :)

kate/thank you friendly cloud (papa november), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:12 (twenty years ago)

gem (trisk), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:12 (twenty years ago)

Might affect the Pyrenees shiraz season a bit

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:13 (twenty years ago)

Trayce (trayce), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:15 (twenty years ago)

I never really think about living on an island, I suppose I do. I don't think global warming will happen to me.

Cathy (Cathy), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:39 (twenty years ago)

actually i have no idea why i didn't answer this myself, seeing as i'm on long island right now.

i don't know.

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 1 April 2005 06:41 (twenty years ago)

Camp on top of Crystal Palace or Beulah Hill!

Masonic Cathedral (kate), Friday, 1 April 2005 09:08 (twenty years ago)

In sunny Oxford we're 15 mins drive from the ridgeway, so we'll be fine until all the chalk disintegrates from the acid rain.

Johnney B (Johnney B), Friday, 1 April 2005 09:12 (twenty years ago)

mark s (mark s), Friday, 1 April 2005 13:19 (twenty years ago)

haha the fin says "ark of space" presumably so bystanders IN space can throw their hats in the er vacuum and cheer (despite no one hearing them)

mark s (mark s), Friday, 1 April 2005 13:22 (twenty years ago)

Perhaps as a result of GW, the gulf stream will go wonky and they'll be an ice age like in the "Day After Tomorrow". Anyway, GW is totally depressing coz nothing ever is going to be done about it, you can't even get your average office worker to switch their monitor off at the end of the day (this should be a sackable offence).

jel -- (jel), Friday, 1 April 2005 15:05 (twenty years ago)

GW is the perfect counter for the Ice AGe we WOULD'VE been plunged into within the next 200 years or so. Temperatures will drop again in abou 50 years. I read it in the latest issue of Intermediate Sceptic Monthly.

Sven Basted (blueski), Friday, 1 April 2005 15:36 (twenty years ago)

Was it peer-reviewed??
