why do people charge 3 times what something is worth on ebay, and why do people buy things for 3 times the price you could get things new in a store?

Because those paying 3x what some worthless piece-of-shit is really worth are stupid, and those charging 3x what some worthless piece-of- shit is really worth can get away with fleecing such fools.

look at these t shirts from the russian 'big brother'...'za steklom'. they are wicked, genuinely nice design. the site doesnt say much about how to get em though.....says there are very few being produced....wonder if these are on ebay???????

Things like the shipping charges and all are part and parcel of why I don't like eBay, but honestly I was always down on the idea because of the whole bidding thing. I don't like auctions, never have -- just give me a price and I'll decide about whether I want it or not from there.

Exactly. Ebayers are goofy. It seems like I'm the only one getting bargains. I unload things for at least twice as much as I expected and either bid at the last moment or use "buy it now" option to obtain rare and out of print things for half of what I'd expect.
