yeah the best way to do this is to type in a big street nearby where you live along with the city name. then you can scroll around until you find where you live and link that.

I don't know what Kinesis is, but it seems to be based in a flat downstairs from me - the marker is very accurate for my home. Spurs ground just offscreen to the left, if you need orientating.

i have a feeling that the digitial camera is scanning really quickly in thin "slices" so the perspective doesn't change as it moves. i think the google street view server sticks the slices together and builds the perspective dynamically.
