buying contact lenses online

so, i'm getting sick of paying boots over £30/month for my monthly toric lenses, and of them telling me that they don't do toric disposables (although it does seem that there really aren't 30 day wear toric lenses available, boo). it's got to be cheaper to buy them online, right? are there any reasons not to do this?

I currently wear ordinary hard lenses, but I'm thinking of changing over to the monthly disposable ones instead. I've bought spare (cheap) glasses online before from glassesdirect.co.uk - they were brilliant - and they now sell contact lenses online too at http://www.contactsdirect.co.uk/ so after I get my new lens prescription from the optician next week, I'll probably order my soft lenses from there from now on.
