Has anyone used boric acid to combat roaches? Did it work? How did you apply it? Any other remedies?

And if anyone has hints about how to get rid of clothes-eating moths, I'd like to hear them!

Cedarwood oil.

Smells much better than napthalene

I've used boric acid, I think it worked about as well as anything else (ie you have to keep it up or they come back). I've also heard orange juice works for ants--they are lured by the sweet and then are eaten by the acid--but that seemed madness. Maybe if you put the OJ outside. Def. cedar/cedarwood oil for moths--mothballs smell so horrible and you have to dryclean all your stuff when it's been stored with mothballs for a while.
