today i have discovered this "wi-fi" the kids always talk about. i now have full use of my PC in a thai restaurant and the starbucks near my house. i am proud of my significant achievement. tho i worry that, having let my PC flirt with two different networks, i have f----k things up, and i won't be able to auto-connect to my home network later tonight. still, this feels like progress.
