I finally made a new cartoon! It's made with photographic cut outs rather than drawings, and is a parody of an old 60s educational film by the name of "Uncle Jim's Dairy Farm". Here it is:

I can't remember where I got the trumpet sound from, but i think it was from this site called the Free Sound Project (whose address I put in the credits). It was just a single trumpet on its own without any other music, which I edited down to about a second or so.

In the original film that little clip of the door led to the son character coming out from behind it and picking up the phone.

Ste: Ah... I'm assuming you're trying to open the AVIs? Apparently Quicktime just does not like certain kinds of codecs used in AVIs. I use the open source XviD codec from:

That's available for Windows and Mac OS. In case you don't want to go to the hassle of installing a new codec, i'll probably be bunging these things up on YouTube or Google Video at some point, as I think a lot more people are able to view Flash video without too many problems. (I am probably wrong here.) If you're trying to open the MP4s, however, I'm stumped.

Why the hell did i advise you to install a codec that Quicktime doesn't like? Sorry, not running on all cylinders today. I'll be opening up a YouTube or whatever account soon, anyway, so almost everyone can see these things (hopefully).
