OK, so about 5 or 6 other Seattle people, and about 2 to 3 other Phoenix people will all be converging at the Excalibur on Mem Day Weekend at Vegas... None of the seattle crüe reprazents ILXOR, however there are second-degree ILXors by proxy of having met a few of my Seattle ilxor friends: h3ath3r, br1an, rustee (ay kay ay math3mat1c attakk), aim33, ar10, and the PHX people I don't know.

There was a hint that someone else very known from ILX *COUGHNEDCOUGH* was interested.

(we're all flying in, jbr.. there are many shuttle buses to where we are staying.. the 3xc/-\l1bur.. that are $5 one way. I'd hope there is something like this at the bus/train station but I don't know. Also, I don't know where the Thai restaurant is, in relation to the strip. Kinda strange, in that this shows Lotus to be some miles away, when this review of the place sez the restaurant is 'one mile away from the glitter of the Strip' -- but one mile doesn't equal 12 from where I sit.

No worries, JBR! Would have been great to have you along with the dinner -- besides myself and donut we collectively introduced six of donut's Seattle friends to Lotus of Siam and they were in ecstatics trying to describe how good it all was. All I have to say is that the catfish curry is the bomb ass and donut's devouring of the dessert was a wonder to behold.

More later, fun time had, the occasional picture taken. And oh yes, at one point donut's winnings on a slot machine invoked the devil.

HA!!!! I KNEW something would happen, if not the full marriage. I am terribly sad to have missed that but I would have been a sleepless wreck this morning if I hadn't. My best to them both. (I was half wondering about all that since they already were thinking of marriage plans *and* how they needed to get engaged, but I figured 'all in good time.')
