Why do people want ims forwarded to their phone -- especially if you have to pay a premium for receiving SMS messages? One of my friends left me a nasty voicemail because I was talking to her on aim and she signed off. Of course, you are not notified because your aim client still sees them as being online (mobile). So I tried to continue the conversation and got this. Fucking dud. Fuck aim.

Particularly if it's an American on one of those phone plans where it costs them to receive a text message.

Yeah, personally I think its their own fucking fault for using the crappy service. I have a an email address on my phone I can give to people if they NEED to text me. But aim is WHACK
