Okay, will link into appropriate threads here in a sec, but the lowdown: Jennifer Gentle, the merrily spiff Italian group managed by ILX poster and extremely good egg Marco Damiani, is playing two shows this Friday night. The first is going to be a free show at Amoeba at 6 pm, the second will be this show at Spaceland starting at 9 pm, with the Out Crowd opening and Dead Meadow headlining. Should be an extremely good night if you're inclined to such things!

Basically wanted to see who all would be up for catching the first show, having a bite to eat somwhere afterwards and/or heading over for the full concert. I've heard some folks will be able to make one or the other and maybe both, and just wanted to see who else would be up for it all. Rah!

Ah, this is the band you were telling me about at that brunch place. I listened to the mp3s. Not exactly my thing, but pretty good -- kind of like Os Mutantes without the bossa/samba influences.

Interesting comparison! I think the band would like that, I'll have to mention that to them.

*weeps* Then again maybe a radio show performance, as they're not averse to them.

Ned, I have to man a booth at my school's spring carnival, but I'll try and make it to Amoeba by 6. Don't know if I'll be up for the Spaceland show, though. We'll see.

No worries, hope to catch you there! Remy and I will call you if we don't see you at Amoeba.
