Do they realize how many things are wrong with this sentence?
― nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 15 April 2005 18:31 (twenty years ago)
The people who wrote that sentence? They don't care. That's why this kind of shit is so much more insidious and dangerous then Jerry Falwell or wackos who blow up abortion clinics. That's obviously wrong, and most people will understand that. But discrimination? Against Christians? Well... you know... it does seem like liberals don't like religion, the way they're always hammering after the separation of church and state, whatever that's supposed to mean, and that thing with the Pledge of Allegiance was kinda stupid, and... is this true? That Christians are being kept out of Government? Oh my God -- I guess I should vote for more Faith-Based programs, then, in the interest of fairness. Look at what it says here! White Protestants are being oppressed! If you look around you, the signs of White Protestant oppression are all around you!

Yes he should. You could work for your church as a deacon or something, but if you want to work for the US Government, you're working for a secular employer. Make a choice, ya hick. Bible or Gavel, but not both.
