Does anyone know where I can buy gongs? I'm particularly keen to get my hands on a Yunluo (pictured).

World O' Gongs is having a spring sale, but it has that awful warehouse feel. Gong-O-Rama is pricier, but the staff is more knowledgeable.

Translated, its name is "Cloud of Gongs", and I would gladly part with the silver lining of my wallet to get one. Just need a supplier in the UK!

Their site isn't very complete, but I have a paper catalog of theirs that lists gongs (among other Chinese instrumets).

Thanks for this link, Spencer Chow. Obviously a supplier based in the UK would suit my needs better, but I may get in touch with Johnny Thompson Music if all else fails. They are beautiful these gongs, quite moving - and I haven't even heard them yet!
