i thought it meant mocking someone w/o mercy.

1: orig.meaning = mocking or teasing
>> 2: subsidiary meaning = doing something outrageous (eg charging absurdly much for a service, performing v.lazily in a professional sportsgame, making an offer you know will never be accepted etc)

I know what it means and all, but I refuse to take someone's piss anywhere. They can handle their own damn piss, thank-yew-very- much -- it's nearly as bad as "taking the beard".

whats the difference between tosser and wanker?

kevin enas, Friday, 7 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

wanker = brainier and therefore meaner than tosser

Until I was 12 and a half, I thought 'approximately' meant 'exactly' because it is always given in front of an amount. When I found out it meant the opposite, that was such a funny feeling!

I used to think "On purpose" meant "On accident" and I remember I thought so because I saw it on an episode of the Muppets. This confusion got me in a lot of trouble. That feeling wasn't the funniest.
