Airships ARE the shit, though. They've started passenger flights in southern Germany again. And its only a matter of time before they're used for the tranporting of heavier goods to remote areas.

On my first trip to Berlin last year, I emerged from the U-Bahn to see the NT Zeppelin floating overhead. The perfect Berlin moment: "can't possibly be . it's just one of those stupid wee blimps . . NO, IT'S FUCKIN' HUGE AND IT ACTUALLY SAYS 'ZEPPELIN' ON THE SIDE!"
