without linking any pictures tell me about ogrish. it can't possibly be worse than how (i imagine) f*cal japan is.

Nasty = dud. Anyone care to bring up (non-sexual related) exceptions?

i have visited rotten.com only to wonder why i felt compelled to see that nastiness. :-(

I remember years ago trawling through it page by page. Why? I have absolutely no idea. Needless to say it really got to me in a bad way. I couldn't eat for fear of retching due to unsightly images in my head & I couldn't sleep due to the amount of death imagery i had in there too! Eugh, nasty, nasty site. :-(

Exactly. I've gone no further than the intro page, and that's enough for me. The horrors that await me - well, I don't to see that.

rotten library is decent and doesn't have too many disturbing images.

ok, and sincerely not meaning to judge, but surely someone here does visit sites like this and i'm wondering exactly - what's the appeal? is it tapping into that fear of mortality? again not meaning to sound very 'how can you like this???' which is what any question of 'what's the appeal?' is gonna read like, just curious.

When i first went onto the site it was some sort of morbid fascination, but I can't imagine any other response than my own tbh.

the Library is great.

what's the appeal?

I asked myself that when I worked at a video store 7 years ago and marvelled at all the volumes of "Faces of Death"

Stupornaut (natepatrin), Monday, 25 April 2005 13:39 (twenty years ago)

in 8th grade i printed out some rotten.com photos and hung them up in my locker (none of the gross fecal or autospy stuff, things like the spanish postcard of donald duck shooting heroin and queen liz picking her nose)

...i don't really know why, in retrospect

as far as I can tell...people are just so shocked about the images. they have to click around. for how long, usually until they are too disturbed to continue...(for me like 8 pictures). then I never went back to that site for hmmm, now 3 years and then yesterday someone reminded me of it and I looked at like 2 pictures (some of that shit is photoshopped) and was like Ok , now I'm oficially never going back, but I had to post about it here. I do chuckle at the absurdity of fecal japan. everything else makes me feel sick.
