Wouldn't it have been cool to be gay in NYC in the 70s? Pissing, fisting, S&M dungeons, hankies, glory holes, hundreds of anonymous sex partners a week, shagging in alleys and refrigerated meat trucks, hustlers, loads of drugs, the Tower of Power torture rack, constant seediness, decadence and perversion. Why can't there be a hetero equivalent?

Also, wasn't 'Cruising' the coolest movie ever? The seediness dripped off the screen, you had to take a shower after! Plus the Germs were on the soundtrack, what else do you want? "Dilated anal vent with no trace of semen - your killer's shooting blanks!"

Yes, it sure would have! Kind of sad how all those diseases and stuff makes that impossible these days! I'm very wealthy though, so I can indulge in some sexual luxuries most people cant. For example, my boyfriend Braden Bryce only uses the most expensive kind of condoms with me, the kind that's made out of other people's dicks!

There is still AIDS out there my dears, so be very safe. I didn't know so much stuff went on in the 70's but I know a little more now. Please be careful.

Dave Q is obviously bitter about not getting the 'filthiest poster' award.

If Brittany is Robin's latest genius creation, I salute him.

Yeah, good times, good times. Shame about the consequences.

I thought Cruising was a little boring and fake the time I saw it, I should give it another try. I'm not a big Al Pacino fan, though. And you barely heard the Germs at all. Which makes sense, you'd never hear them in leather bars back then, you'd hear the WORST sort of disco and California lite rock like Walter Egan, Christopher Cross, Bob Welch, and dave q's beloved Andrew Gold. You should have won best ILM poster, by the way, dave.

Brittany, I love you. There is a heterosexual equivalent, it's called university. No, hang on, that can't be right...

three years pass...
I was looking for a thread about the TV show "Numb3rs" and found this instead. This really should go on the Dave Q appreciation thread
