Is Travelocity Yankin' My Crank?

Ok, here's what happens. I put in my dates and airports, and it gives me one fare that's like 200 bucks lower than the others. So I go through the entire hassle, enter all my info, credit card etc, hit the button, and then I get this message that the flight could not be confirmed "Some flights sell out very quickly yada yada." Shit, I waited too long. Ok, too bad. So it gives me the option to do a new search. I put in the same dates, same destination, etc., and the same exact flight from before comes up at the same price. I go through the whole process again, and I get the same message. Flight's booked, these things fill up fast, etc. I keep trying, same thing over and over again, same result every time, but the same flight keeps coming up in the search. If it's booked, why is it coming up in the search? WTF?

travelocity sometimes has website meltdowns. i've had problems with them too -- just call up their customer service and explain, and if your experience is as good as mine was, they should be very helpful.

Nope, they weren't helpful at all. I mean, they tried to be, but of course they had the same problem as me and couldn't do anything about it.

Kayak worked out. In fact, I saved almost $100 thru them (and by being willing to put up with a short layover). Thanks dude.
