Seriously. Shit is the bomb. I could spread it on my skateboard and it'd still be the best thing I've had to eat all day.

bump!

giboyeux (skowly), Thursday, 5 May 2005 02:37 (twenty-one years ago)

I thought you meant annie (from norway)'s ability to dress like a goddess was unstoppable. I have to stop reading ILM.

Hey Glad Girls / Kate (papa november), Thursday, 5 May 2005 02:40 (twenty-one years ago)

we always have bottles of this crap around. i have grown tired of it even though i have not had it in like 1 year.

h0t h0t h0rsey (Carey), Thursday, 5 May 2005 02:41 (twenty-one years ago)

I could drink it! .....wanna do some shots? Totally!

giboyeux (skowly), Thursday, 5 May 2005 02:45 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah, it's pretty delicious! i concur. it's the TAHINI that does it, i think.

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 5 May 2005 02:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes. Yes it is. Tahini makes a great many things delicious. Like chicken!

giboyeux (skowly), Thursday, 5 May 2005 03:01 (twenty-one years ago)

i didn't think it was vegan, car3y.

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 5 May 2005 05:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah, doesn't it have, like, anchovies.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 5 May 2005 12:00 (twenty-one years ago)

I use it like mayo on bread when I make sandwiches.

Maria :D (Maria D.), Thursday, 5 May 2005 12:12 (twenty-one years ago)

xpost Does it?? I don't know why I assumed it was vegetarian. We have some and yeah, it's very delicious and very fatty. But duh, there's a voluptuous goddess on the front of it.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Thursday, 5 May 2005 12:13 (twenty-one years ago)

someday, i'll revisit green goddess dressing. i hated it when i was a kid, along with thousand island.

lauren (laurenp), Thursday, 5 May 2005 12:17 (twenty-one years ago)

the ingrediants are Expeller pressed canola oil, water, tahini, cider vinegar, soy sauce, lemon juice, sea salt, garlic, toasted sesame seeds, parsley, chives, xanthan gum

I think some of her other dressings are not vegan.

h0t h0t h0rsey (Carey), Thursday, 5 May 2005 12:17 (twenty-one years ago)

she'll get you if you're not careful.

lauren (laurenp), Thursday, 5 May 2005 12:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh hooray! I think though the recipe I have for Goddess dressing that I took out of an ancient like 60s-era cookbook asked for anchovies, which I thought was KLAME.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 5 May 2005 13:03 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm more for the cowgirl ranch dressing.

Michael F Gill (Michael F Gill), Thursday, 5 May 2005 15:19 (twenty-one years ago)

Because it goes great with everythingeverythingeverythingeverythingeverythingeverythingeverythingeverythingeverythingeverything?

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 5 May 2005 15:22 (twenty-one years ago)

i ate so much of this that i haven't quite been able to ease back into it. be careful!
i'm totally into this prince dressing from soul food veggie b/c it has TONS of nutritional yeast in it.
i'm also into brianna's poppyseed dressing that has a picture of a peach on it. it's creamy & vegan!

kelsey (kelstarry), Thursday, 5 May 2005 15:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Fuck feminist dressings!

Unfortunate Prankster (Unfortunate Prankster), Thursday, 5 May 2005 15:35 (twenty-one years ago)

briana's french vinagrette with the artichoke on front is the bomb! i hate creamy dressings.

Miss Misery (thatgirl), Thursday, 5 May 2005 15:52 (twenty-one years ago)

kelsey (kelstarry), Thursday, 5 May 2005 17:19 (twenty-one years ago)

h0t h0t h0rsey (Carey), Thursday, 5 May 2005 20:05 (twenty-one years ago)

charleston charge (chaki), Thursday, 5 May 2005 20:16 (twenty-one years ago)

i put nutrional yeast and hot sauce on everything nowadays.

YES. Deliciousness:

  • Cube up some firm tofu.

  • Lightly brown in olive oil

  • Throw in some soy sauce

  • Liberally sprinkle nutrional yeast

  • Ditto fresh ground pepper

  • ...

  • Profit!
  • giboyeux (skowly), Thursday, 5 May 2005 20:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Man this dressing is so good. We had a lettuce-and-avocado salad last night with about a gallon of the Goddess Dressing on it...mmmm.
