Farfisa 101

I've been drafted into playing the Farfisa with Hank and some of his friends. V. cool instrument but I never touched one till yesterday. Tips anyone?

Fave use of Farfisa = Brian Eno on "Another Green World". So learning how to play that would be a pretty good starting point, I reckon.

Oh, thank goodness for that!

One of the greatest disappointments in my life was discovering that Moog is pronounced as in vogue, as opposed to the daft dog that appeared in Willo the Wisp. I've found it difficult to get excited about Moog's ever since.

Farfisa = very temperamental instrument that is always breaking down when taken on the road. My tip: don't be anywhere near it when this happens. Or blame the drummer.
